Ada Marie Sims

Ada Marie Sims, 90, of Pursglove, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 at Madison Nursing Home. The daughter of the late John and Violet Collins Austin, she was born February 16, 1925 in Huffington, WV. Ada loved playing bingo and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by three daughters: Linda Blosser, Patty Brown, and Nancy Sims; two sons, Eddie Sims and Ronald Sims; a sister, Margie Flowers; a brother, Edward Austin; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Eugene Sims; two sons, Kenny Sims and Raymond Sims; a grandson; two great-grandchildren; a brother; and a sister. Family and friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Tuesday, from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday, June 10, 2015, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service.
