Bonnie Rae Fisher

February 24, 1954 — September 16, 2024

Bonnie Rae Loughry Boggs-Fisher 70 of Morgantown, WV passed peacefully at home on Monday September 16, 2024. Beloved mother of the late Crystal Lynn Loughry and Eric Camden Loughry (Jessie Stevens). Cherished grandmother to Liam B Stevens, wife of the late Dale Fisher, and step-mother to Sasha & Dustin Fisher.


Bonnie is preceeded in death by her father, Clyde C Boggs; brother, Clyde M. Boggs; husband, Dale H. Fisher; daughter Crystal L. Loughry; nephews Douglas M. Boggs and Christopher C. Boggs.


Bonnie is survived by her mother Leora Boggs; son, Eric Loughry (Jessie Stevens); her little buddy/grandson, Liam Stevens; sister Brenda Morgan, and her children Jenifer Morgan and Steve (Kelly) Morgan; sister Beverly Stewart and her children Molly (Jason) Sell, Megan Stewart, Matt (Meghan) Stewart; sister Rebecca (Harry) Drew, and their children Jason Drew, Rachel Metcalf, and Sarah (Nick) Hlopick; brother Chris (Becky) Boggs, and their children Camden (Adeline) Boggs, Cyle Boggs, Hannah Boggs, Preston Boggs and fiancé to their late son Christopher Boggs, Mary Sprouse; sister-in-law, Patty Boggs, and her children Scott Boggs and Amy (Tony) Demasi. Also, many extended family and their children.


Bonnie retired from WVU, she worked at The Daily Athenaeum as the Advertising Manager. She loved her job because of all the wonderful people she worked with. Most of all she loved her students, as they were like her children. As she was like a mom away from home.


Bonnie loved having a good time. She was good natured and a people pleaser. She wanted everyone to be happy. She loved the beach, especially Ocean City, MD. Where in recent years, loved it even more from making new memories with her grandson Liam. She cherished the time she spent with him, doing activities, and taking fun little trips around town. He was her rock/little buddy forever and always. Bonnie was a Christian by faith and attended church at Delmar Chapel. Bonnie touched and left an imprint on many lives; she will be missed dearly.


Friends and family will gather on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at the Fred L Jenkins Chapel of Prayer from 11 AM until time of Bonnie's memorial service at 1 PM.
